Established in 2001 at the Russian Center of San Francisco, Teremok Preschool is dedicated to nurturing young minds with a strong foundation in early childhood education while celebrating the rich language and culture of our immigrant community.

Our program is thoughtfully designed to immerse children in a Russian bilingual environment, where they can develop linguistic proficiency and cultural awareness. Through engaging activities, interactive play, and creative learning experiences, we strive to create a supportive and dynamic atmosphere where children thrive.

Teremok is licensed by the CA Department of Social Services, License # 384000793. Our Staff
Teremok’s educators are fluent in both Russian and English and bring specialized training in their fields—including early childhood education, music, art, folk dance, and administration. Their expertise, creativity, and dedication ensure that every child receives a comprehensive, engaging, and enriching learning experience.

All staff members, including volunteers, undergo comprehensive background checks before joining Teremok. Additionally, they hold certifications in Pediatric First Aid & CPR, Preventative Health & Safety, and Child Nutrition, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for our students.
​
To maintain excellence, our team regularly participates in training and professional development sessions, staying informed on curriculum advancements, health and safety standards, nutrition guidelines, and federal, state, and local regulations.

Most importantly, our staff are deeply committed to Teremok’s mission of preserving the Russian language and cultural heritage, ensuring that future generations remain connected to their roots.
