About the Role
Are you passionate about early childhood education, bilingual learning, and preserving Russian language and culture for future generations? We are seeking a dedicated Preschool Director/Teacher who is eager to contribute their expertise and leadership to our team at Teremok.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that inspire learning and creativity.
• Cultivate a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space for young children to explore, play, and grow.
• Pass on the beauty of Russian traditions, folklore, and language, fostering a deep appreciation for heritage.
• Build strong relationships with families, strengthening our bilingual community and cultural connections.
• Lead with warmth and vision, guiding students through their early developmental milestones while preparing them for future learning.
• Participate in professional enrichment opportunities, contribute ideas for program expansion, and help shape the future of our bilingual preschool.
Qualifications
Fluent in Russian & English (spoken and written).
15 units in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, including 3 units in administration/staff relations, preferred; candidates with a minimum of 6 units and an active continuing education plan will be considered.
4+ years of experience in early childhood education with leadership/administrative responsibilities preferred; minimum 2 years of experience required.
CPR & First Aid certification, Mandated Reporter training, and Health & Safety training (or willingness to obtain).
A passion for Russian language, cultural preservation, and creating meaningful learning experiences for young children.
A warm, collaborative leadership style and a genuine appreciation for working with children and families.
